On September 27th, the atmosphere of the National Day holiday became increasingly strong. The Party branch of Beijing Lianshan Technology Company, accompanied by the leaders of the town party committee, embarked on a meaningful visit journey.

The party branch and the delegation first came to the home of Hao Lanying, the successor of the district level intangible cultural heritage of Shunyi District, Hao’s Water Pattern Raindrop Paper Cuttings. Hao Lanying once visited Brazil as a member of the Chinese women’s delegation and was hailed as the “Chinese clever sister-in-law”. She learned from her grandmother Hao’s water pattern raindrop Paper Cuttings when she was young. Her works have a wide range of subjects and have won many awards at home and abroad. Her work More Than Wealth is collected by UNESCO. Zhang Haiting, the secretary of the company’s Party branch, and Zhao Guanjie, the deputy general manager, had in-depth exchanges with Hao Lanying and appreciated her exquisite Paper Cuttings works. Everyone was impressed by this wonderful art, and deeply felt the charm of traditional culture and the importance of inheritance.

Subsequently, under the guidance of the town party committee comrades, members of the party branch came to the home of retired cadre Shi Jingping. Shi Jingping, an elderly person, was born in February 1931. He started working in April 1948 and joined the Party in December 1947 as a deputy department level cadre. After retiring in August 1992, he lived in Zhaogezhuang Village, Beishikao West. Secretary Zhang Haiting and Deputy General Manager Zhao Guanjie had a cordial conversation with Mr. Shi and his partner, inquiring in detail about their physical and living conditions. Although Shi Lao is over ninety years old, his spirit is still full of vitality. Shi Lao’s lover also enthusiastically tells their life stories, creating a warm and touching atmosphere on site. Everyone listened attentively to their stories and was deeply moved by the firm beliefs and selfless dedication of the older generation of Communist Party members.
During this visit, accompanied by comrades from the town party committee, the party branch of Beijing Lianshan Technology Company visited the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage, Hao Lanying, and retired cadre Shi Jingping. Through communication and interaction with them, members of the party branch not only appreciate the charm of intangible cultural heritage, but also draw on the red spirit of veteran party members.
